Nicht nur die Mecklenburgische Seenplatte geht auf die Wirkung des Eises während des Pleistozäns zurück. Auch an vielen anderen Formen wie z.B. den Förden in Kiel und Flensburg, den Fröruper Bergen oder auch an kleineren Formen kann guy den glazialen Einschlag der Landschaft erkennen. Für das Verständnis der glazialen Prägung Norddeutschlands ist es wichtig erst einmal einige Begriffe zu erklären und die Entwicklung und die Ursachen einer Vereisung näher zu betrachten. Im zweiten Teil dieser Hausarbeit sollen die einzelnen geomorphologischen und geologischen Formen diskutiert werden, die bei der Vereisung in Norddeutschland entstanden sind.
